[Kelly] The overarching plot was far-fetched but interesting. While neither Jake’s motivations nor the logic used to justify his actions holds up under scrutiny, I couldn’t put this down. I was invested in their HEA, even if the way they went about achieving it was so absurdly wrong it was just comically bad.
First half was a solid 4 stars. Returning to the ranch is when everything went sideways. But I kind of want to immediately get the next one in the series? So make of that what you will!
